How to Use Koppy Alpha
step by step guide to brew your espresso on the go
Step 1 : Pick Your Coffee
Choose coffee capsules or ground coffee.
Step 2 : Load your coffee into the holder
Load your coffee in and screw it in.
Step 3: Fill up the water tank.
Make sure you fill up with the amount needed only. 20ml for ground coffee. 30-40ml for capsules.
Step 4 : Choose your operation mode.
Long press for brew only cycle. Double tab for heat and brew cycle.
Step 5: Brew and enjoy.
After the beep sound, your crema-rich espresso is now ready!

Portable Espresso Machine with built in heater and pump.
Fill it up with 9g-10g of ground coffee.
Load in capsules like nespresso original or any compatible size capsules.
Load it up with “big” coffee capsules like dolce gusto or any compatible capsules. It also acts as an adapter for ground coffee holder and 31mm capsule holder to screw to the machine body.
For you to scoop the ground coffee and use the back of the scoop to act as a tamper.

No, it doessn’t. you will grind the coffee bean with your own grinder or koppy easygrinder.

Generally it takes 2-3 hours for a full charge.
The machine itself is not water proof. So, do not wash/rinse the machine body.
Koppy alpha brews using fresh coffee. You may use the heater to heat up the water for instant coffee brewing.
It takes 9g of ground coffee for a single shot.
There is a indicator at the water tank. You may fill up according to the volume of water needed.
Generally for capsules, you may use 40ml to brew it or refer to the instruction on the box.
As for ground coffee, usually it takes 2:1 coffee ratio. which means around 20ml.
When you operate to run the pump, the pump will run for 30s before it’s automatically turned off.
For the coffee holders, you may clean them with soap and water. However, do not wash the machine. Instead, use a wet tissue to wipe because the machine will not have direct contact with the coffee (coffee holders do).
